Nancy Lucas was born in Regina, Saskatchewan. She moved to the Okanagan in 1974. She studied at Okanagan College and got additional training from professional artists when she was accepted into active status with the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her genres range from vibrant grassland studies to impressionistic and contemporary florals. Lucas continues to broaden her horizons with travel and paints images that show the content and emotions from her experiences. Her work appears in collections in Canada and overseas.
