Mikulas Kravjansky was born in Czechoslovakia in 1928 and attended the Prague Academy of Muse arts, studying art and scenography. He was chairman of the Art Department for Czech State Television, and created art designs for several ballets, operas and stage productions while there. He emigrated to the U.S. and then to Canada, where he now resides on Georgian Bay.
