Maurade Baynton received a scholarship to the Banff School of Fine Arts while still a teenager, and continued her studies over the years at the Pro-Art Workshop (Montana), and the Whiterock Centre for the Arts. Solo shows have included Grasslands Gallery (Edmonton), Rocky Mountain Art Gallery (Calgary), Editions Gallery (Edmonton), and Canada House (Banff), among others. Maurade Baynton lives and works in Sherwood Park, Alberta.
