Marianne Smisko is a Regina artist who grew up on a farm in Saskatchewan's Moose Mountains near Kisbey. Smisko paints paints in watercolours, oils and acrylics, and her interest in Saskatchewan history is reflected in her scenes of old elevators, farmsteads, and churches Smisko is a member of The Prairie Artists Guild and the Art Gallery of Regina, and has participated in solo and group shows throughout Saskatchewan. Smisko's works can be found in individual and corporate collections across Canada and the USA, and her painting 'Autumn's Splendour' was chosen to be in the Imago Mundi collection of miniature paintings displayed in Venice, Italy in commemoration of Canada's 150th Anniversary.
