Louis Tremblay was born in Baie-St-Paul, Quebec, in 1949. At an early age he studied painting with a family friend, renowned artist Rene Richard. Temblay studied at the Universite du Quebec in Chicoutimi, and at Universite Laval. His works have been exhibited and collected widely throughout Quebec and the rest of Canada.
