Lou Chrones was born and raised in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan. She begin making art in the early 1970s, and studied with such artists as Miranda Jones, Niki Forrest and Degen Lindner, and was a member of the Broadway Painters Workshop (Saskatoon). Her work has been exhibited at the Frances Morrison Library Gallery, Chapel Gallery (North Battleford) and Collector's Choice Art Gallery in Saskatoon, and can be found in many private and corporate collections.
