Loren Teed was born in 1928 in Humboldt, Saskatchewan. He acquired a Bachelor of Education degree from the University of Saskatchewan (Saskatoon, 1968) and a BFA for the University of Saskatchewan in 1969. Upon graduating Teed taught fine arts at Walter Murray Collegiate, in Saskatoon. His work was widely exhibited in Saskatchewan, including a solo show at the Little Gallery, in Prince Albert (1986) and group shows at Dunlop Art Gallery (Regina), Saskatoon Art Centre and the Little Gallery. His work can be found in the permanent collections of the City of Regina, Dunlop Art Gallery (Regina), Mendel Art Gallery (Saskatoon) and the Saskatchewan Arts Board. Loren Teed died in 2004, in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
