Larissa Higgs is originally from Regina, Saskatchewan, and now resides in Saskatoon. She is a second generation Ukrainian Canadian. She attended Medicine Hat College and studied in the Visual Communications program. In 2016 Higgs became a member of the Saskatoon potters guild, where she continues to work as a member and a teacher of adults and children. In 2022 Larissa Higgs was one of 250 international artists who donated pieces in the Artists for Ukraine Auction raising just over $42,000.00 for humanitarian aid in Ukraine.
