Jerzy Druzycki was born in 1930 in Lodz, Poland. He graduated form the School of Fine Arts in Lodz in 1950 with a degree in Graphic Arts. Ex libris bookplates remained a central interest of the artist throughout his career, including seven portfolios published in Poland and Denmark, and a portfolio of 100 Polish coats of arms. His work can be found in many permanent collections including the Polis National Library, Royal Library of Copenhagen, the University of Lodz, Catholic University of Loblin. Jerzy Druzycki died in 1995 in Wroclaw, Poland.
