Janet Beatrice Marsh was born in 1935 in Toronto, Ontario, and lived in Niagara-on-the-Lake, Cape Breton Island, and for ten years on a sailboat in Canada and the Bahamas. From the mid 1990s Marsh's work focused on woodcut printmaking, often depicting scenes from nature. Her work was widely exhibited and collected, including at the Rebecca Gallery, Toronto. Janet Beatrice Marsh died in December, 2011, in Toronto.
