Henry Tozer was born in Sheerness, Kent, England in 1864. He spent much of his life depicting country domestic situations in Cornwall, southwest England, as well as coastal scenes. His watercolour paintings often depicted an elderly couple, painted with great detail. Tozer exhibited his work in England, including at the Royal Academy, and his work can now be found in collections throughout the UK and internationally. Henry Tozer died in Thurlsey, England, in 1955.
