Gu Xiong, a multimedia artist originally from China, now lives and works in Canada where he is a professor at the University of British Columbia. He received his BFA and MFA degrees from the Sichuan Fine Arts Institute in Chongqing, China. His work is represented in the collections of the National Gallery of Canada, the China National Museum of Fine Arts and the Vancouver Art Gallery, among many other museums and private collections.
