Frederick E. Valter was born in 1859 in Birmingham, England. He was a renowned Warwickshire watercolour artist whose work was frequently exhibited at the Royal Birmingham Society of Artists from 1880 to 1900. He specialized in depictions of rural life, often with atmospheric scenes of sheep, cattle and horses. Frederick E. Valter died in 1929.
