With a multi-disciplinary background including writing, sculpture and video, Eldon Garnet infuses his photographs with a profound ambiguity, both moral and conceptual. Garnet’s work has been exhibited internationally including major surveys of his photographs at the Amsterdams Centrum vood Fotographie and at the Museum of Contemporary of Canadian Art in Toronto. In 1998, a mid-career survey of his work entitled “The Fallen Body” was held at the Canadian Museum of Contemporary Photography in Ottawa. Garnet lives and works in Toronto, where he also teaches at the Ontario College of Art and Design.
