Denyse Klette was born and raised in Saskatchewan, and had an interest in art from a very early age, selling drawings while in grade school and publishing a cartoon strip in two local newspapers by the time she was sixteen years old. After moving to Toronto with her husband, she began working with mentors and creating murals. In the 1990s Klette returned to Saskatoon, and created a beloved mural on Broadway Avenue. Her paintings of various whimsical subjects are popular worldwide, with multiple adult colouring books, painting series and a licensing agreement with Disney Fine Art.
