Deanne Hally was born in Provo, Utah, in 1944. She attended Idaho State University as an art major. Hally moved to Idaho Falls, Idaho, in 1979. She specialized in watercolour painting, often depicting flowers or scenes from her travels. Deanne Hally died while travelling in Spain, in 2002, after an eight-year battle with cancer.
