Danny Dennis was born in 1951 in Port Assignation, BC. He was Northwest Coast native artist of the Frog Clan, of Haida and Gitskan ancestry. A self-taught, Dennisâ?? work is renowned for its free-flowing lines which are an expression of freedom. He first exhibited his work at the Skhana Art Crafts Gallery, in West Germany in 1979, and has been exhibited widely ever since, including at the Lattimer Gallery (Vancouver) and Turtle Island Gallery (Kelowna, BC).
