Danielle Lanteigne is a Canadian artist famous for her work in encaustic painting - a technique which consists of combining pigment with beeswax and applying the mixture to canvas or other surfaces. Lanteigne's works combine geometric shapes and stylized everyday objects, creating new forms such as rectangular lemons or squared apples. She is interested in manipulating the perspectives of objects and her works often having a disappearing vanishing point.
