Cheryl Bailey was born in Toronto, Ontario. She studied with John Leonard at the Etobicoke Art Group Studio and at Fleming College Haliburton School of Art and Design. Here work has been widely exhibited in Ontario, including multiple exhibitions at the McMichael Canadian Art Collection (Kleinburg), Ontario Provincial Touring Exhibitions, The Orillia Museum of Art and History, and Art Gallery of Northumberland. She has had solo exhibitions at Riverdale Hub Gallery and the Niagara Pumphouse, and her work can be found in several important collections including the Government of Ontario Art Collection. Bailey has served on the board of the Ontario Society of Artists and in 2024 the OSA award her the President's Medal for artistic excellence and outstanding service. Cheryl Bailey lives and works in Oakville, Ontario.
