Cecelia Jurgens is a Saskatchewan artist who works in watercolour, acrylic and pastel. She has also been teaching art workshops for many years, and since 2004 has been conducting sketching tours, with locations including Italy, England, Spain, Portugal, Greece, Chile, Newfoundland and Quebec. Jurgens has exhibited in group shows since 1987 and as a solo artist since 1998. In 2001 she was commissioned by the Saskatchewan government to do six paintings that were presented to foreign dignitaries. She is an elected member of the Canadian Society of Painters in Watercolour and is also a member of the Federation of Canadian Artists. Her work can be found in public, corporate and private collection across Canada and abroad. Cecelia Jurgens lives and works in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan.
