Heffel Auction House Biography and Notes
Carole Thompson graduated with honours from the Vancouver School of Art in 1967. That same year she was the recipient of the Charles H. Scott memorial award. Her work has been exhibited extensively in British Columbia including shows at the Vancouver Art Gallery, Surrey Art Gallery, Art Gallery of Greater Victoria and the Burnaby Art Gallery. She taught at the Victoria College of Art and Design for a number of years and continues to exhibit her work at institutions on Vancouver Island.
