Blanche Bolduc began painting in 1966 - before then, she was content to help her sister, Yvonne, with her artwork. She loved painting Quebec scenes, bringing them to life with characters inspired from everyday life. Bolduc regularly exhibited in various galleries in Quebec and Ontario and had two exhibitions in France in 1972 and 1976. She was awarded a silver medal from the Academy of Arts, Sciences and Letters in Paris in 1976.
