Bill Lobchuk was born in Neepawa, Manitoba in in 1942. He earned a Diploma of Art from the University of Manitoba and opened The Screen Shop in Winnipeg in 1968. He and partner Len Anthony opened the Grand Western Canadian Screen Shop, which became a focal point for many artists of Western Canada and for promotion of the serigraph on the prairies. His work has been widely collected and exhibited natioally as well as in France, Poland, the Netherlands and other countries.
