SKNAC bio: Elizabeth (Betty) Sajtos was born in Strasbourg, Saskatchewan in 1933. As a young woman she moved to Lestock, Saskatchewan to teach in a one room country school house. Sajtos then lived in several small Saskatchewan communities, working as a librarian, an administrative assistant and a daycare worker, and was an art instructor for ten years. Sajtos was a self-taught artist, and was a member of the Regina Federation of Artists, and exhibited her work at the Mackenzie Art Gallery (Regina) and the Art Gallery of Regina. Betty Sajtos died in April 2023.
