Betty Armitage was born and raised in Regina. She studied widely in the fields of drafting and fine art, as can be seen in her finely-detailed work. Her paintings were widely collected in Canada and abroad and in later years she donated limited edition prints to numerous non-profit foundations, schools and churches throughout Saskatchewan.
