Arpad Muller was born in 1961 in Budapest, Hungary. He graduated from the Hungarian College of Fine Arts in 1985, and between 1985 and 1988, he continued his studies at the Academy's Art Training Center. In 1988, he was awarded a scholarship to study in the United States. At that time he had several solo exhibitions in Hungary, the FRG, Austria, the Netherlands and the United States. In 2000, he received the Salus Prize in a competition for the tenth anniversary of German reunification. Arpad Muller died in 2006.
