Andrew Meredith was born in Great Village, Nova Scotia, in 1983. He found his passion for art early, surrounded by the colours and character of the east coast, and has been painting since childhood. Meredith moved to Coronach, Saskatchewan, with his family in his last year of high school. Meredith has worked in watercolour, oils, and acrylics, and paints in folk art, realistic, and abstract styles. Influenced by both Saskatchewan and Nova Scotia, Meredith's work includes landscapes, seascapes and cityscapes. He has had several shows at the Moose Jaw Cultural Centre, consisting of both his prairie scenes and colourful depictions of east coast life. His works have also been shown at the Prince of Wales Cultural Centre (Assiniboia, Saskatchewan) and in group exhibitions at the Canadian Museum of Civilization (Ottawa) and the Shurniak Art Gallery (Assiniboia). Andrew Meredith lives in Moose Jaw, Saskatchewan, while also spending part of each year on the east coast.
