AA Bronson was a co-founder of the seminal artists group General Idea along with Jorge Zontal and Felix Partz. Since the death of his partners in 1994, Bronson has exhibited widely as a solo artist, often in collaboration with other artists. Described as “an artist, healer, curator and educator,” Bronson has received both the Order of Canada and was named a Chevalier de l’ordre des arts et des letters by the French government.
