Won Lee graduated from Johnson State College of Vermont with a Masters of Fine Arts in 2006. He regularly lectures on Aesthetics at a number of universities and museums in Korea, Mexico, USA, Canada, Singapore and China. He is a member of the Board of Directors of the Toronto School of Art, a Trustee of Vermont Studio Center and a Professional Circle Member of International Sculpture Center (USA). Some of his life-size sculptures are in the collections of 'The Pride of the Valley Sculpture Park'(U.K),'The Windsor Sculpture Park'(Canada), 'The Mosan Museum Sculpture Park'(Korea) and the 'Benini Sculpture Park'(USA). The most recent publications about his sculptures include: 'Korean Monthly Art Magazine', February 2009, p.145-147 and 'Sculpture', Vol.27, No. 4, International Sculpture Center, May 2008, p.55-57.
