Vladimir Vereschagin was born in 1949 in Onega, Arkhangelsk region of Russia. He graduated from the Muhina Art Industrial College in 1972 and currently lives in St. Petersburg. His work is found in the Hermitage Museum, Alexander Pushkin All-Russian Museum (Moika 12 Embankment), Peterhof State Museum, Russian National Library, Royal Museum of Fine Arts Antwerp-Belgium, Museum of US History (Smithsonian Institute), Museum of St. Petersburg, Cairo National Center for the Arts and the Shanghai Ex libris Museum and many others.
