Verna Stewart (nee Norman) was born in 1917 in Findlater, Saskatchewan, and raised in the Findlater - Chamberlain region. After marrying in 1941 she farmed in the Pense district until retiring to Regina in 1978. Throughout much of her life, Stewart had an interest in art. Verna Stewart died in Regina in 2013.
