Heffel Auction House Biography and Notes

This lot is a double-sided drawing from Tim Gardner's first solo show. This series was informally titled The Drinking Buddies because these works relate to young men engaged in or suffering from the effects of over-consumption of alcohol or drugs. In Kevin Prokosh's art review of this show he quotes Plug In curator Wayne Baerwald: "He's looking at the socializing and camaraderie that's built up through drinking in North America and Europe."
