SKNAC Bio: Sean Whalley was born in St. Catharines, Ontario in 1969. He acquired a BFA form York University (Toronto) in 1993, and since 1997 has lived in Regina, Saskatchewan, where he completed a Master of Fine Arts degree in 2000 at the University of Regina. He now teaches in the Visual Arts Departments of the University of Regina. Much of Sean Whalley's work centres on forests and sustainability, and his sculptural works make use of previously-used and discarded wood.
