Sandra Ledingham was born near Weyburn, Saskatchewan and attended high school and University in Regina, as well as some Art studies in Paris France. She has a BA in Sociology and Fine Arts and Ceramic Studies with Marilyn Levine at the University of Regina Sk. Canada. Her teaching experience has included University of Saskatchewan, SIAST Applied Arts Department, Concordia University Portland Oregon. She lives and works in her 2 homes: Saskatoon, Saskatchewan and Valladolid, Yucatan Mexico and shows her work both nationally and internationally. In 2012 Ledingham was commissioned to create a permanent sculpture in Saskatchewan's Legislature in Regina entitled 'Multis E Gentibus Vires (Strengths of Many Peoples)' and she recently completed a collaboration in the Yucatan Mexico. In 2020 Ledingham's work was included in the Taiwan International Ceramic Biennale.
