Ronald S. Parker (AKA: Ron Parker) is a Canadian wildlife artist, painter, sculptor and printmaker. He was born in Vancouver, British Columbia and currently lives in Victoria, British Columbia. He has travelled widely, including to the Yukon, Northwest Territories, the Rocky Mountains, Kenya and Costa Rica. His mediums include oils, acrylics, watercolours, gouache*, serigraph*, bronze and limited edition prints. His best-known works are realistic paintings of wildlife (primarily mammals and birds) in their habitat. He has had 19 one-man shows of original paintings between 1981 and 2003 and in 1982 Mill Pond Press began issuing limited edition prints of his work. In 1993 four of his designs were issued as coins by the Royal Canadian Mint.
