Kevin Sonmor was born in Lacombe, Alberta in 1959 and was awarded a Masters of Fine Arts by Concordia University in Montreal in 1991. He has since exhibited widely in Canada (including at the Mendel Gallery in Saskatoon), the United States, and more recently, Europe. His work is held in many private and public collections, including the Canadian Council Art Bank and the Canadian Department of External Affairs. He currently lives and works in Montreal.
